After helping to host a boho baby shower for one of our dearest friends a little over six months ago, this time it was our turn to celebrate with our very own bohemian baby shower!

The weeks are quickly running out before we welcome our very first baby boy, and we couldn't be more thrilled to add to our little Mahiya family. Please enjoy photos from our recent celebration, and we're wishing all you mum-to-be out there a beautiful baby shower as well!

Mahiya's Baby Shower Celebration

Seeking an intimate celebration, we decided to host a small group of our closest gal friends and family members at our home in the beautiful Gold Coast. We recently renovated the back balcony with plenty of seating, a chimenea and colourful bohemian decorations, so it was the perfect place to celebrate on a sunny, warm day. 

Bohemian Baby Shower - The Details

We'd like to give a huge thank you to Tammi McDermott for organising and creating an amazing platter of goodies, and Jackie Gordon for the delicious cake from The Shelf Deli Cafe, located in the nearby Pines Shopping Centre. Gorgeous + delicious = the best combination! 

Lastly, I have to thank @leilunaleis for creating my amazing Haku Lei Flower Crown! This gorgeous piece made me feel (and smell) so feminine and beautiful.

While I've been to my fair share of baby showers, it was such a special feeling being surrounded by friends and family in celebration of our first child, and we can't wait to experience the journey of parenthood alongside some of our favourite people.
