Boho Babes Weekend in Bali

When Mahiya creators and owners Alex and Ryan dropped the news that they had set the date for their big BOHEMIAN WEDDING day we couldn't have been more excited! In true bohemian style Alex got to arranging the all important hen's trip away, and what better place to go than the beautiful Bali. We were privileged to get a window into the weekend via the hens Instagram pictures, but as soon as Alex returned we wanted to know all about it. Here is what Alex had to say...

"We arrived to kick-off our weekend at the amazing Villa Opera http://www.operavilla.com  Lembongan Island; my very good friend and fellow creative Brie had organised everything, so it was a big surprise for us girls and we couldn't have been more thrilled with her choice. My ocean front room had been spread with the most gorgeous flowers with mine and Ryan's names spelled out...it was so romantic! 

The lovely staff couldn't have been more attentive and happily made us an array of tasty cocktails while we relaxed by the pool. When we were thoroughly sunned and relaxed, we got ready for a girls night out in our matching white boho outfits. I was greeted by music blaring, champagne popping and a gorgeous hens sign, there was no mistaking why we were there! The girls had laid a trail of flowers leading to a private bungalow where Brie had set up an array of fresh flowers for all of us to make flower crowns for the night. The surprises just kept on coming.

My friends had made me feel so amazingly special,  and the night was topped off with a banquet of food just for us. We ate, danced the night away, and spent the rest of the weekend relaxing and exploring the Island. I'm so grateful for my friends and the beautiful weekend they laid on, I really couldn't have asked for better company and companionship.

And as for the accommodation, I couldn't recommend Villa Opera enough for those looking for a tropical paradise escape."
