We at Mahiya want to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your purchase, so we have made our exchange and return system very simple. All items are thoroughly inspected before being sent to ensure a high level of quality in the products you purchase from us.
Mahiya will exchange items if returned within 30 days within Australia. You’ll just need to cover the postage to send it back to us and supply a return postage satchel with your name, address and order number.
>> All returns must be sent to 15 Jarrahdale Drive, Elanora, QLD 4221 with the above Exchange & Return Form << Items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unused, and with all original tags attached. Please note that no two leathers are dyed the same, and colour variances can occur between each batch. Hide marks are not considered a fault.
We only offer an exchange, not a refund, for change of mind or wrong fit.
Sale, discounted, and discount coupon items are marked FINAL SALE, in which case they are not eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit.
All exchanges must meet the following requirements:
>> Mail it back within 7 business days from the date of delivery (14 for international customers)
>> Please note Mahiya does not refund because of change of mind. Refunds are only issued if an item is faulty and cannot be repaired. As our items are handmade, we will offer to pay for the repair of the item if a small fault occurs. If the item cannot be repaired, we will happily replace the item if the stock is available or refund you upon return. We also have a 3 Month Warranty period on all of our pieces. *Please note this excludes noticeable fair wear and tear.
>> All products for exchange must be received in original condition – unworn, unwashed, with ALL tags still attached.
Returned items not received in their original state will be automatically returned to the customer at the customer's expense. Mahiya reserves the right to reject a return if we conclude it is not in a new or unused condition. If you cannot find anything in our store that you would like to exchange, we will offer you a credit note to the amount of the original purchase (excluding freight) which can be used in store and is valid for six months from the date of issue.
All of our leather is dyed individually, so each product colour will vary from one to the next, making each piece unique!

All orders over $100 that are shipped within Australia are entitled to *FREE SHIPPING and are sent via Australia Post. You will also have the option to upgrade to a SIGNATURE ON DELIVERY or EXPRESS POST for $12.95 AUD. You will be emailed your tracking number once your item has been shipped.
SHIPPING - INTERNATIONAL
$25 AUD Flat Rate International Shipping. All international orders are sent via registered mail. It will require your signature on delivery. This is unfortunately not trackable online, but you will be emailed your reference number which you can quote to your local postal service for updates. IF YOU REQUIRE INSURANCE ON YOUR ORDER, PLEASE SEND US AN EMAIL WHEN ORDERING AND WE WILL PROVIDE A QUOTE FOR YOUR PACKAGE.
All International orders are shipped via Australia Post and shipping times will vary per country. Please allow up to 7-25 days for delivery.
For those located in or around Australia's Gold Coast, free local pick-up of purchased items is allowed at our Showroom in Currumbin. Please note that we are open from 9:30am to 3:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, as well as some select weekend mornings (please see our Facebook or Instagram for announcements). The pick-up address is 4/23 Leonard Parade, Currumbin Waters, QLD 4223.
All orders will be shipped within 1-3 business days once payment is received. (During Sale Periods this can take up to 5 days to be shipped with high volumes of orders to be processed) Please allow 5-7 working days for your item(s) to arrive within Australia. We use prepaid regular post satchels. Shipping days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Items are inspected by us before dispatch. Once an item has been sent, Mahiya will no longer be responsible for goods shipped. If you require insurance, please send us an email upon purchasing.
Please make sure your shipping address details are up to date when ordering. Please check with your local post office if you experience problems during shipping. We do not refund for items lost in the mail. If you are experiencing problems, please follow up with Australia Post to lodge an enquiry. We will do our best to assist you.
Final prices do not include relevant overseas customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be imposed. This is the responsibility of the customer. Please check with your local customs office for further information.
*We are only able to offer free Australia wide shipping on Mahiya items. We have added a small shipping fee to all non-Mahiya products.
